You play the newest contestant, dropped into a maze that a huge audience watches for entertainment, and progress means finding the way out while the course tries to kill you. Traps are mechanical and timed, including sliding circular saws, spiked pneumatic crushers, pools of acid and jump pads that fling you in a set direction, so most rooms are read-then-move puzzles rather than shooting galleries. Monsters patrol the corridors as well, and hiding or outrunning them is usually a better answer than confronting them. Coins and cash are scattered through the maze and are worth detouring for, since they feed the show's reward layer and what you can afford at the end. Coloured keys open sections of the maze, and with no map on screen you are pushed to hold the layout in your head. Runs are short and failure is frequent, so the loop is learn a room, die to it once, then clear it cleanly. The result is a compact low-budget survival platformer where the show framing supplies the pressure and the maze supplies the difficulty.
