Warhammer: Vermintide 2

Each player picks one of five heroes, and each hero has three separate career paths that change their weapons, abilities, and role in the group, from a ranger-style Waystalker to an armored Zealot who thrives on taking damage. Missions send the team fighting through streets, sewers, and forests where enemy hordes and ambushes spawn differently on every playthrough.

Combat leans heavily on melee weapons, blocking, and dodging rather than ranged firepower alone, and successful missions reward loot chests that grant new weapons and cosmetic gear. The career system lets a single hero feel like several different characters, giving the cooperative horde-fighting loop long-term variety beyond simply repeating the same missions.

• Melee-Focused Combat Blocking, dodging, and weapon choice matter as much as ranged attacks.
• Five Heroes, Fifteen Careers Each hero unlocks three distinct career specializations with unique abilities.
• Procedural Enemy Hordes Enemy spawns and ambush points change between playthroughs of the same mission.
• Loot-Based Gear Completing missions rewards chests containing new weapons and cosmetics.
