Vorax

The island spans roughly ten square kilometers of farms, laboratories, and abandoned homes, all overrun by creatures twisted by a virus called Virus V. You scavenge for supplies, craft makeshift weapons and tools, and build barricades to hold a position when the fighting turns against you. Combat mixes more than ten ranged weapons with melee options against a dozen distinct enemy types, including several boss encounters. A day-night cycle raises the danger after dark, when enemies grow more aggressive and photosensitive creatures react to any light you carry. Weather adds another layer of threat: infected rain and fog can affect your senses and make the island harder to read. Every encounter rewards caution over charging in, since resources are limited and a wrong fight can leave you stranded without supplies.
