The Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle

Players decide how their Sims interact with a shared neighborhood ecosystem, choosing between industrial pollution or self-sufficient green living, which visibly changes the look and cleanliness of the local streets and buildings over time. New systems let Sims collect scrap through dumpster diving, recycle it into crafted objects, and install solar panels or wind turbines to power their homes.

The expansion also introduces communal spaces such as shared gardens and gathering areas that neighbors can use and vote on together, tying individual household choices to the wider look and feel of the neighborhood.

• Eco Footprint System The neighborhood shifts between industrial and green states based on choices.
• Renewable Energy Install solar panels and wind turbines to power homes.
• Upcycling Crafting Collect scrap and recycled materials to build new objects.
• Community Spaces Shape shared neighborhood areas with gardens or gathering spots.
