The Riftbreaker - Metal Terror

The player continues controlling a mech pilot who must fortify a base on a hostile alien world while fending off waves of creatures. This expansion introduces a fresh narrative arc centered on a heavily armored mech variant, new enemy types, and additional biome hazards to overcome. Players gather resources, research new technology, and construct defensive structures between combat encounters, blending real-time strategy base management with third-person mech combat. The added story missions expand on the lore of the alien planet and its ecosystem, giving veteran players new objectives and environmental challenges beyond the base campaign. Combat remains fast-paced, requiring players to juggle turret placement, resource extraction, and direct mech engagement against swarms of hostile fauna. The expansion is built for players who already enjoy the base game's loop of building, defending, and expanding, offering more hours of that same tower-defense-meets-RTS gameplay wrapped in new narrative context.
