Sonic Frontiers

Players run, jump, and boost across the Starfall Islands, solving environmental puzzles to unlock portals into more traditional linear speed stages. Combat against mechanical Guardians uses a combo-based moveset with dodges, parries, and unlockable skills purchased with points earned from completing challenges.

Collectible tokens are exchanged for permanent stat increases, letting Sonic run faster, hit harder, and survive longer as the game progresses. Fishing minigames, side missions from other characters, and hidden collectibles give players optional things to do away from the main path toward the towering Titan bosses guarding each island.

• Open Island Exploration Sonic freely runs and climbs across large connected outdoor areas.
• Cyberspace Stages Portals lead to compact, traditional Sonic speed levels.
• Combo Combat Sonic fights robotic Guardians using chained attacks and special skills.
• Titan Boss Fights Each island ends with a large-scale battle against a towering Titan.
