Combat pits the characters against hordes of strange enemies and tough bosses. Platforming sections wind through hand-drawn, atmospheric landscapes, with puzzle elements woven into exploration. Careful observation pays off, since hidden paths and secrets are tucked throughout the Smiling Islands. The adventure builds toward multiple endings, with collectible narrative pages that reveal fragments of a story that shifts with player choices.
