About this game
You ride eight of the most powerful production superbikes, each modelled down to individual components. Between sessions the bike comes apart in the garage, where more than five hundred licensed spare parts can be fitted, swapped or upgraded. Parts wear out, so brake pads, tyres, chains and fluids all have to be watched and replaced before they fail mid-race. A status check screen reads live telemetry covering brake temperature, tyre pressure, suspension behaviour and electronic aids, which you tune to suit your riding style. The riding model is demanding, with separate front and rear braking, weight shifting and grip loss, though assists can be dialled in for newcomers. Career mode runs a team as well as a rider, covering the race calendar, staff, sponsors, research spending and skill growth. There are ten circuits plus five point-to-point road routes, along with online racing. This edition packages the base game with two manufacturer part packs, a career starter pack, a themed livery and suit set, nine extra helmets and one more circuit.
