You ride 450SX and 250SX class bikes on indoor dirt tracks made of jumps, rhythm sections and banked turns. Throttle control and rider weight shift over each jump decide how clean the landing is and how much speed carries into the next section. The career mode runs through three stages. Future teaches riding technique, Rookie has you refining it and picking up sponsors, and Pro puts you in the 450SX class against the toughest riders. A track editor lets you build circuits from modules based on the official layouts and share them with other players. The Compound is a large open island area used for free riding, training and challenges against friends. More than one hundred licensed riders are available across the two classes, alongside eleven stadiums and seventeen tracks from the season. Bikes and rider gear can be customised with parts from over one hundred official brands, down to the number plate and the graphics kit. Races can be run alone against computer riders or online against other people. The handling model rewards learning a track's rhythm rather than holding the throttle open.
