About this game
Players return to their existing character and take on a new campaign centered on a hidden kingdom ruled by a monstrous entity, fighting through new enemy types with firearms and melee weapons alongside the game's usual dodge-based combat. Cooperative play for up to three allows the new content to be tackled as a group.
New weapons, armor sets, and trinkets tied to this storyline are earned by defeating its bosses and completing side objectives hidden across the added area. The expansion follows the base game's structure of procedurally varied encounters layered over a fixed core story, so repeat runs through the new zone can differ between playthroughs.
- New Campaign Play through a new story arc centered on a hidden kingdom.
- Cooperative Play Tackle the added content solo or with up to two other players.
- New Gear Earn weapons, armor, and trinkets tied to the expansion's bosses.
- Procedural Variation Encounter varied enemy and event placement across repeat playthroughs of the new area.
