About this game
Movement combines wall-running, double jumps, and later time-based abilities such as rewinding a fall or freezing a moving platform, all needed to reach areas that were previously unreachable. Combat mixes sword strikes with ranged attacks from a bow-like weapon and amulet-granted powers, rewarding dodges and parries against faster or armored enemies.
The world of Mount Qaf is structured as an interconnected map with locked paths that open once new movement or combat abilities are found, in the style of a Metroidvania. A built-in screenshot-based map-marking tool lets the player tag locations of interest, easing navigation through the mountain's branching, backtrack-heavy layout.
- Time Manipulation Use powers like rewinding falls and freezing platforms to solve traversal puzzles.
- Metroidvania Map Unlock new paths across Mount Qaf as movement and combat abilities are found.
- Amulet Powers Equip amulets that grant additional combat and traversal abilities.
- Map Marking Tool Tag locations directly on the map using an in-game screenshot system.
