Players gather resources, cultivate crops, and construct homes, bridges, and pagodas styled after traditional Chinese architecture. Farming involves managing water irrigation, fertilizer, and temperature to grow crops rather than simply planting and waiting. Hostile Jaer cultists threaten settlements, so players must balance building and farming with defending what they create. Up to four players can explore, build, and survive together, sharing resources and defense duties across the same settlement. The open world rewards exploration with hidden secrets and friendly NPCs who add context to the surrounding land. Construction covers a wide range of structures, letting players shape a homestead that reflects the local architectural style. The setting favors a relaxed pace over constant danger, giving players room to plan before raids arrive. Between farming, building, and fending off cultist raids, the game blends cozy homesteading with steady survival pressure.
