Monster Hunter Wilds

The player selects from a wide range of weapon types, from great swords to bows, and hunts monsters whose behavior and movement change with the environment around them. Materials carved from defeated monsters are used to craft new weapons and armor, driving a loop of hunting, crafting, and hunting tougher targets.

A wandering companion follows the player throughout expeditions, and the landscape itself shifts through seasonal changes that alter which monsters appear and how they act, from flooded plains to arid, storm-scoured plateaus.

Hunts can be tackled alone or alongside other hunters, with each weapon type demanding a distinct playstyle, from the fast strikes of dual blades to the heavy, deliberate swings of the hammer.

• Weapon Variety Fourteen distinct weapon types each offer a different combat rhythm and skill set.
• Living Ecosystem Weather and seasons shift monster behavior and available terrain features.
• Crafting System Monster parts are broken down into materials used to forge weapons and armor.
• Multiplayer Hunts Hunters can team up to take on larger monsters together.
