Players choose a side among the Earth Alliance Forces, ZAFT, or the Archangel crew before piloting Mobile Suits through remade battle maps with sharper visuals. Combat plays out in real time, with suit stats, weapon loadout, and pilot skill determining who wins each skirmish. The full roster spans more than 100 Mobile Suits, each rebuilt with higher-resolution textures for this remaster. Between missions, a redesigned upgrade menu lets players strengthen suits and weapons, tuning loadouts to match a preferred playstyle. The mission list follows major story beats from both Gundam SEED and its sequel Gundam SEED Destiny, letting players fight alongside familiar pilots and their signature machines. A reworked save system makes it easier to jump back into past missions and try different approaches. Unlock conditions for rarer suits have also been eased compared to the original release, so a larger share of the roster stays reachable without excessive grinding.
