Stasis capsules fail during the journey, so colonists wake up much later than planned to find their underground base already in ruins. It falls to the player to rebuild the base from the ground up. Construction covers power, water and food systems, alongside rooms that keep colonists fed, healthy and productive. Each colonist carries individual quirks and moods that shape how the colony runs, so managing morale matters as much as managing resources. Beyond the underground base, players send expeditions to the surface to gather materials, research new technology and expand the settlement outward. Dynamic events such as cave-ins or crop disease strike without warning, forcing quick decisions under pressure. Later growth options include cloning and robotic labor to cover gaps in the workforce. Every playthrough starts on a freshly generated world, so the layout of tunnels, resources and hazards changes each time. The pace is left to the player: some stretches call for careful long-term planning, others for reacting fast to a crisis. Together the systems build a slow-burn survival loop about patience, planning and keeping a fragile colony alive against a hostile planet.
