Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection (Vol.1 + Vol.2)

The player controls Lan Hikari and his NetNavi, MegaMan.EXE, jacking into cyberspace to fight rogue programs and viruses across grid-based battle arenas. Combat plays out on a panel-based field where the player selects Battle Chips in real time to unleash attacks, buffs, and special maneuvers, blending action reflexes with deck-building strategy. Each entry in the collection follows an evolving story about hackers, corrupted networks, and the bond between a boy and his digital partner, with new areas, chips, and Navi customization options introduced across the series. The collection preserves the original games' pixel art and structure while adding modern conveniences such as save states, rewind, and a chip library for browsing collected cards. Players can move through the numbered entries in order, watching the story and mechanics deepen with each installment. It is suited to players who enjoy tactical, chip-based battles layered over an early-2000s digital adventure aesthetic.
