About this game
Players control Lightning alone, tasked with saving as many souls as possible before the world ends within a fixed number of in-game days, with time passing continuously during exploration.
Combat replaces the earlier Paradigm system with a real-time Style-Change mechanic, letting Lightning switch between outfits called Garbs that each carry their own equipped abilities mid-fight.
Side quests and main story missions must be managed against the ticking clock, adding a scheduling layer not present in the earlier two games.
- Real-time Day Limit A fixed number of in-game days counts down as the world nears its end.
- Style-Change Combat Outfits called Garbs are switched mid-fight to change abilities.
- Solo Protagonist Lightning is the only playable character throughout the game.
- Garb Outfit System Each Garb carries its own set of equipped skills and stats.
