Knights of Pen and Paper - Haunted Fall

In the base game you play both sides of the table. You create the players sitting around it, cast them as classes such as knight or mage, and then run their adventure as the game master too. That second role is the twist: encounters are not simply thrown at you, because you pick which fights to start and stack the monster groups yourself, trading higher risk for better rewards. Combat is turn-based, and progress runs through levels, gear, blacksmithing, and enchanting. This pack layers a Halloween story over that campaign. A new quest line sends the party against jack o'lanterns, staggering undead, and a mixed bag of bewildered monsters, with the humor of the base game intact. Two settings come with it. The Otherworld opens as a new area holding four multi-level dungeons, and the Black Forest adds a further place to explore.
