Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Brushes with Death

The base game follows Henry of Skalitz through an open world twice the size of the original, with combat covering swords, maces, polearms, crossbows and early firearms. NPCs react to how quests are approached, and dialogue skills like oratory, charisma and intimidation shape how conversations and confrontations play out. This expansion adds a new side story built around Master Voyta, an eccentric painter Henry finds tied to a tree near Trosky Castle. Thugs have stolen Voyta's belongings, and helping him track them down opens a chain of roughly ten quests that send Henry across the map. The added storyline runs for several hours and deepens Henry's friendship with Voyta without disrupting the main campaign. A new shield-painting system lets players customize Henry's shield with heraldic symbols and colors in a wide range of combinations. The expansion is best suited to players with an established character, though newcomers can pick it up gradually as an optional side quest.
