Kerbal Space Program: Breaking Ground Expansion

Players attach new hinges, pistons, rotors, and robotic parts to their spacecraft and rovers, letting them build moving mechanisms such as solar tracking arrays, deployable landing legs, or walking rovers. A programmable sequencer part lets these mechanisms be choreographed into multi-step movements. The expansion also introduces deployable science instruments that can be left on planetary surfaces to gather ongoing data, plus new terrain features like caves and geysers that reward exploration with extra science and story fragments scattered across celestial bodies.

• Robotic Parts Hinges, pistons, and rotors let players build moving mechanical structures.
• Surface Science Stations Deployable instruments collect ongoing data from planetary surfaces over time.
• Terrain Features Newly added caves and geysers appear across celestial bodies to discover.
• Sequencer Controller A programmable part lets players choreograph multi-part robotic movements.
