Just Cause 3

Rico Rodriguez can grapple to any surface, tether two objects together to yank them apart, and glide across the island in a wingsuit, chaining all three into a form of aerial movement that rarely touches the ground for long.

Liberating the island means retaking military bases, fuel depots, and propaganda towers scattered across hundreds of square kilometers, and nearly every structure can be blown apart, launched into the air, or otherwise destroyed in the process.

A challenge system scattered across the island rewards speed, style, and destruction with in-game currency spent on gear upgrades. A wingsuit race mode built entirely around chained grapple-and-glide combos also lets skilled players show off pure traversal skill outside of the main story missions.

• Grappling hook traversal The hook attaches to almost any surface and can tether two objects together to yank them apart.
• Wingsuit flight Gliding across the island combines with the grapple for near-continuous aerial movement.
• Widespread destructibility Fuel tanks, statues, and bridges can be blown apart or launched rather than just shot at.
• A large open island Medici spans hundreds of square kilometers of coastline, mountains, and countryside.
• Base liberation Military installations across the island can be captured to weaken the ruling regime.
