He finds a strange book with pages missing, and the cellar starts producing creatures. Each stage places rows of jars in front of you. Break every jar to clear the level, but protect the sarcophagus at the back of the room while you do it. Smashing a jar releases whatever was inside, which may be a helpful minion that fights on your behalf or a nasty that heads straight for the sarcophagus. You never know which until the glass breaks, so the game rewards reading risk and adapting rather than memorising a fixed solution. Your own summoned creatures are placed and positioned to intercept what comes out, which is where the tower defense side lives. Randomisation drives replay value, and new mechanics appear steadily so a stage rarely plays like the one before it. Presentation is hand-drawn in a gloomy storybook style, all dusty shelves and long shadows, with dark humour running under the horror trappings. The framing question stays small and funny in the middle of an apocalyptic plot: will Victor save the world, or just get grounded by his mother?
