Players pick from a cast of heroes with distinct ranged, melee, or support abilities and battle across a lane-based arena filled with monsters and environmental hazards. Killing enemies and completing objectives charges your team's Guardian, letting it fire powerful attacks at the enemy base while your own base defends against the rival Guardian. The goal is to be the first team to bring the opposing base's health to zero using a mix of hero skirmishes and Guardian assaults. Matches blend third-person aiming with ability-based team fighting, rewarding coordination between damage dealers, tanks, and supports. Each hero levels up within a match, unlocking stronger versions of their abilities as the fight progresses. The arena contains wildlife and neutral monsters that can be farmed for buffs or turned against the enemy team. Fast respawns and short match lengths keep the pace brisk, while the roster's varied playstyles - from stealthy assassins to heavy brawlers - give every match a different feel depending on team composition and how quickly each side can power up its Guardian.
