DayZ | Deluxe Edition

Players spawn with almost nothing and must search abandoned towns and forests for supplies, craft equipment, and manage hunger, thirst, and injury while deciding whether to trust or fight other people they meet. Death is permanent, erasing gear and forcing a fresh start, which pushes every encounter with another survivor toward tension and negotiation. The persistent world runs continuously, so weather, time of day, and the actions of other players all shape what happens on any given run across the map.

• Open-World Survival Players explore a large, continuous map for supplies and shelter.
• Permadeath Character death removes all gear and progress, forcing a restart.
• Player-Driven Encounters Other survivors can be allies, threats, or trade partners.
• Crafting and Base Building Scavenged materials can be combined into tools, clothing, and shelters.
• Infected Enemies Towns and buildings are patrolled by hostile infected that attack on sight.
