Beholder 3

Working from a cramped apartment or office, players plant surveillance devices, search belongings, and gather evidence on neighbors, deciding whether to report infractions or look the other way. Every choice carries consequences, affecting relationships with other characters and shaping how the story's branching plot unfolds toward one of several possible endings. Resource management runs alongside the espionage, as players juggle a tight budget, personal needs, and the demands of keeping up appearances for a watchful government. The game's oppressive atmosphere is reinforced through grim, muted visuals and a narrative that constantly questions the morality of complicity within an authoritarian system. As the third entry in its series, it continues the established formula of blending stealth-based information gathering with dialogue-heavy storytelling and moral dilemmas. Players who enjoy narrative-driven games built around uncomfortable choices and constant surveillance will find a tense, character-focused experience throughout.
