Achilles: Legends Untold

Combat is deliberate and punishing, drawing on soulslike design with stamina management, careful dodging, and heavy weapons that require reading enemy patterns before committing to an attack. The player explores a dark, myth-infused version of ancient Greece filled with monstrous creatures drawn from legend, uncovering lore about gods, heroes, and the war itself while upgrading weapons and abilities through found materials and currency. Boss encounters test mastery of the combat system, often demanding multiple attempts and adaptation as players learn attack timing and openings. Progression ties into an armor and weapon system that lets players specialize toward aggressive melee builds, ranged approaches, or hybrid playstyles, while environmental storytelling through ruined temples and battlefields fills in the mythological narrative without heavy exposition. The overall experience is built around tense, methodical fights punctuated by exploration of a moody, legend-soaked world.
