X4: Foundations | Community of Planets Edition (2024)

You begin as a single pilot and can grow into an operator of fleets, factories and trade lanes. Ships are flown by hand or commanded from a map, and stations are assembled module by module into production chains. The simulated economy runs on its own, with factions mining, hauling, building and fighting whether or not you take part. Split Vendetta introduces two Split family clans with their own economy, ships, weapons and station modules. Cradle of Humanity enlarges the map with new sectors, story missions and game starts, and brings two Terran factions with their own economy, ships, weapons and stations. Tides of Avarice adds pirate and scavenger factions plus further ships and stations to find. Kingdom End restores the Boron, with their distinctive ships and their own star systems. Timelines supplies scenarios that walk through the many different sides of X4 gameplay. Because the base game is included, nothing further is needed to play.
