World Turtles

The turtle carries the Meeps' entire world on its shell, so its health directly shapes how far the settlement can grow. Starting from a single village, players expand across the shell, gather resources, research new technology and explore to find and unite scattered Meep tribes. Different sectors of the shell trigger their own weather shifts, rising water and other disasters, forcing the colony to adapt as it spreads. Every playthrough generates a different turtle and a different path through the universe, so no settlement follows quite the same route. Once the turtle recovers, the Meeps can launch a space program and push their exploration beyond the shell itself. Throughout, the tone favors cooperation and problem-solving over combat, with tribes joined through diplomacy rather than conquest.
