Wars Across The World

Players alternate turns in an I-go-you-go structure, moving land, naval and air units across a map divided into zones of varied terrain. Units can stack together on a single zone, and battles are resolved in a two-round tactical exchange. An income system pays for maintaining forces and buying event cards, which can shift alliances, income, movement, weather or leadership at key moments. Leaders grant combat bonuses and set morale, and an attack cannot be launched without one present. Scale flexes with the scenario, so a single unit might represent a battalion or an entire army, and a turn might cover hours or years. The base pack includes the engine, a tutorial and ten scenarios, and comes with a free editor for building custom conflicts. The result is a single system flexible enough to cover skirmishes and full-scale wars alike.
