WARNO - Northag

Players command combined-arms battlegroups of infantry, armor, artillery, and helicopters in real-time engagements set within a hypothetical conflict between NATO and Warsaw Pact forces. The expansion introduces additional divisions with their own unit rosters, letting commanders build decks tailored to specific national doctrines and equipment styles. Matches emphasize careful use of terrain, suppression, and combined-arms tactics, where reconnaissance and timing often decide engagements before the main assault even begins. The added forces slot into the base game's card-based deployment system, where players assemble a deck of units before battle and call them onto the field as reinforcements arrive in waves. This content is aimed at players who enjoy detailed Cold War military simulation and expanding their strategic options with historically grounded forces and equipment. The new divisions bring distinct strengths, encouraging varied approaches to armored pushes and defensive lines.
