About this game
It introduces the Astra Militarum's Cadian regiments as a new playable force, giving commanders access to disciplined infantry squads, armored vehicles, and iconic Imperial Guard heroes to lead into battle against the savage Orks of the original campaign. Players command these forces across hex-based battlefields, balancing unit positioning, morale, and specialized abilities to outmaneuver the enemy. The pack expands the roster of units available in skirmish and campaign modes, letting fans of the Guard field disciplined ranks of soldiers backed by tanks and artillery rather than relying solely on the game's other available forces. New scenarios and missions are built around these reinforcements, testing tactical use of massed lasgun fire, armored support, and steady discipline against the chaotic, overwhelming numbers of the Ork horde. It's aimed at players who already own the base strategy game and want to expand their tactical options with a classic Warhammer 40,000 faction, bringing more variety to army composition and mission replayability.
