Victoria II: A House Divided

Players guide a nation through industrialization, colonization, and diplomacy, managing population groups called pops whose economic roles, wants, and political leanings shift over time.

The expansion introduces plurality and reform mechanics that let multiple political parties hold partial influence rather than a single ruling party controlling everything, along with an overhauled artillery and combat model.

It also adds new events and a Great War mechanic that draws multiple nations into large alliance-based conflicts.

• Population Simulation Pops represent groups of citizens whose jobs, needs, and politics evolve as the game progresses.
• Political Plurality Multiple parties can hold partial power in government instead of one party ruling outright.
• Reform System Players enact social and political reforms that change how the population behaves.
• Great War Mechanic Alliance systems can escalate smaller conflicts into large multi-nation wars.
