Vampire: The Masquerade - Coteries of New York Artbook

The base game is a story-led vampire tale set in the World of Darkness. A newly turned undead protagonist navigates a hidden society of clans in a modern city, choosing companions and taking sides in a conflict between the old order and its rivals. Its presentation leans on painted backgrounds, character portraits and mood rather than combat. This add-on collects that artwork in a single document of roughly seventy pages, supplied as a PDF file. It gathers concept art from several stages of development alongside the finished pieces that shipped in the game, covering characters, backgrounds and animation work. Commentary from the project lead and the artists runs beside the images, explaining how the setting's established lore was reworked for this particular version of the city. A link inside the book leads to more than twenty themed wallpapers sized for desktop and mobile screens, a few of them animated. The book is a companion piece rather than extra play. It adds no new chapters, endings or characters to the story, and it needs the Coteries of New York base game before it can be used.
