Unpacking

Across a series of moves spanning years of a life, the player decides where clothes, books, kitchenware, and personal keepsakes belong, with placement affecting how tidy or awkward a finished room feels.

There is no dialogue or explicit narration; the changing size and layout of each home, along with the recurring objects a person keeps or loses, tell the story of relationships and life changes indirectly.

The game imposes no time limit or fail state, letting players study each object and consider where it fits at their own pace.

• No Time Pressure There is no timer or fail state while arranging objects.
• Object-Based Storytelling Recurring items across moves hint at relationships and life changes.
• Multiple Life Stages Each level represents a different home at a different point in life.
• Room Organization Placement of items affects how complete and tidy each room appears.
• No Dialogue The story is told entirely through objects and environments, without spoken or written narration.
