Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes

Matches are one-on-one duels built around the series' EXS gauge, Grief Trigger reversal moves, and Chain Shift cancels, giving skilled players tools to extend combos or punish aggressive opponents. A story mode continues the plot threads from earlier games, following characters drawn into the recurring phenomenon that traps people in an alternate midnight world.

The roster mixes returning fighters with new additions, each carrying a distinct move set and playstyle. Training tools, a mission mode, and both local and networked versus play support players learning the game's frame-precise combo system.

• Grief Trigger Mechanic A defensive reversal tool lets players punish aggressive attacks.
• EXS Gauge Management A shared resource fuels special moves and defensive options.
• Story Mode A narrative campaign continues the series' ongoing plot.
• Large Combo-Focused Roster Returning and new fighters each have distinct combo tools.
