Turbo Kid

Fighting scoundrels with a machete and a glove rigged with turbo blasts, shocks and a circular saw.

The story picks up immediately after the events of the film Turbo Kid, following the same hero as they meet oddballs across the Wasteland who offer advice. Side quests, jokes or a fight. Zones and bosses can be tackled in whatever order the player chooses rather than a fixed sequence. And dialogue choices push the story down different paths, so a second playthrough can turn out differently from the first.

Traversal blends on-foot movement, running, crawling, jumping and hanging with a BMX bike that reaches areas otherwise closed off and can be launched at enemies as a weapon. Close combat runs through a machete alongside the Turbo Glove, which fires charged blasts. Zaps foes with electric shocks and swings a circular saw, all rendered in a pixel-art style built around exaggerated, cartoonish gore.
