Train Life: A Railway Simulator

The player takes on the role of a locomotive engineer, controlling throttle, brakes and signals while transporting cargo and passengers on schedule through mountains, tunnels and stations.

Outside the cab, the player inspects and repairs rolling stock, manages a small rail business, and plans routes and cargo contracts to grow the operation over time.

The simulation models weather, track conditions and mechanical wear, so a damaged engine, icy rails or a missed signal have real consequences for a run.

• Detailed Cab Controls Operate realistic throttle, brake and signal systems from the driver's seat.
• Business Management Buy locomotives and wagons and manage contracts to expand a rail operation.
• Dynamic Weather Rain, snow and fog affect traction, visibility and travel time.
• Maintenance System Inspect and repair components such as brakes, couplers and engines.
• Varied Routes Drive through mountain passes, tunnels and industrial rail yards.
