About this game
The base game combines turn-based campaign management of a fantasy army with real-time tactical battles fought across sprawling battlefields. This bundle adds three Legendary Lords, each tied to a different faction and campaign mechanic. Skulltaker leads the forces of Khorne, hunting down enemy lords to add their skulls to his cloak and earn new abilities as he goes. Gorbad Ironclaw commands the Orcs and Goblins through a mechanic built around experimenting with unusual battle tactics for exotic bonuses. Golgfag Maneater leads Ogre Kingdoms mercenaries, taking on contracted wars for different clients in exchange for rewards. Alongside the three Legendary Lords, the bundle brings additional Legendary Heroes and new battle units, including Black Orcs, Mangler Squigs, Bloodletters and Maneater regiments. It also adds several Regiments of Renown, elite pre-built units that can be recruited straight into a campaign army. Each pack's units and mechanics slot into the base game's existing campaign map, giving players new factions and strategies to combine with armies already available. As add-on content, it does not work without owning the base game first, since it expands an existing campaign rather than standing alone.
