About this game
Players take command of Skrolk of Clan Pestilens, a plague-focused Skaven lord, or the rival Dwarf engineer Malakai Makaisson, each with a unique unit roster, campaign mechanics, and legendary items tied to their faction. The expansion adds new battlefield units, including war machines and monstrous creatures, and introduces a questline campaign that ties the two lords' personal rivalry into the wider grand campaign map. Turn-based empire management on the campaign map combines with real-time tactical battles fought between armies drawn from each faction's roster.
- Two Legendary Lords Skrolk and Malakai Makaisson lead their respective factions.
- Unique Unit Rosters New war machines and monstrous units join each faction's army.
- Rivalry Questline A dedicated campaign storyline ties the two lords together.
- Distinct Faction Mechanics Skaven and Dwarf factions each play with their own campaign systems.
