Total War: WARHAMMER II - The Queen & The Crone

It adds two new playable Legendary Lords, each leading their own faction with distinct units, mechanics, and a bespoke campaign questline centered on old rivalries reignited. One Lord commands a faction built around powerful magic and nature-aligned forces, while the other leads a faction rooted in cruelty, dark rituals, and blood-fueled combat bonuses. Alongside the new Lords, the expansion introduces new legendary items, additional units for existing armies, and a narrative-driven campaign map area tied to the two factions' conflict. Players take control of turn-based strategic campaigns on the overworld map, managing settlements, diplomacy, and army movement, before dropping into large-scale real-time tactical battles where terrain, unit formations, and lord abilities decide the outcome. The expansion is built to slot into the existing campaign framework, giving fans of the base game fresh factions to master and new battlefield synergies to experiment with, particularly around each Lord's signature abilities and the rival storyline that links them.
