Total War: THREE KINGDOMS - A World Betrayed

Adding two new playable warlord factions, and requires the base game to play.

In the base game, players lead a warlord faction through turn-based campaign management. From diplomacy and city development to resource gathering, then resolve conflicts on real-time tactical battlefields where unit formations, terrain and general abilities decide the outcome. Rival factions form and break alliances constantly as they compete for control of a divided empire.

This DLC brings two legendary warlords into play as their own factions, expanding the roster to thirteen playable powers. One leader gains momentum from personally defeating enemy commanders, unlocking bonuses the more warriors he strikes down. While the other builds toward faction-wide rewards by completing personal ambitions, gambling on a reputation for luck that cannot hold forever.

A fresh starting point lets campaigns begin later in the timeline, after several major warlords have fallen, changing the balance of power from the outset. New battlefield units are exclusive to each new faction, and new story missions and legendary characters expand the roster of warriors players can recruit or face in battle.

• Two New Warlords Play as two legendary commanders, each joining the roster as a fully separate faction.
• Momentum Mechanic Earn escalating bonuses by personally striking down enemy characters on the battlefield.
• Ambition-Driven Bonuses Complete personal goals to unlock faction-wide rewards tied to a growing legacy.
• Later Start Point Begin a campaign after several major leaders have fallen, resetting the balance of power.
