Total War: ROME II - Beasts of War Unit Pack

The base game puts players in command of an ancient faction, managing its economy, diplomacy and expansion on a campaign map before resolving battles on a real-time tactical field. This pack requires that base game and adds nine new units drawn from across its roster of playable peoples. From siege engines that hurl venomous animals to armored war beasts ridden into melee.

Recruitable additions include beehive, scorpion and snake-pot ballistas that fling swarming creatures at enemy lines. Camel-mounted heavy cavalry, mercenary armored elephants and leopard warriors available for hire, and war-dog and wolf-hide infantry drawn from Celtic and Germanic tribes. Each unit is tied to specific factions rather than available to every army in the game.

• Nine New Units Adds nine recruitable units themed around animals, split across several of the game's playable factions.
