Total War: ATTILA - The Last Roman Campaign Pack

The Last Roman Campaign Pack is a downloadable campaign expansion for a grand strategy game set during the fall of the Western Roman Empire, placing the player in command of Roman forces attempting to hold the fracturing empire together. This add-on introduces a new playable faction and campaign centered on the historical general Aetius, tasked with defending Roman territory against invading barbarian tribes, rival generals, and internal political rivals while managing dwindling resources and loyalty among the populace. The player directs large-scale battles on detailed 3D battlefields, arranging infantry, cavalry, and siege units in real time, while also managing the broader empire through a turn-based campaign map involving diplomacy, taxation, and settlement development. The added content emphasizes the desperate, defensive nature of the late Roman military, with new units, buildings, and technologies reflecting the era's shift from expansion to survival. Political intrigue plays a heightened role, as the player must balance the demands of the Roman Senate, rival commanders, and the army itself to avoid civil collapse from within even as external enemies press at every border.
