Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2

Combat centers on a snap-to-cover system that shifts to a third-person view whenever you press against a wall or obstacle, letting you peek out and fire or lean blind around corners. Squadmates take orders to advance, hold position or throw grenades at a marked point, and their improved battlefield awareness lets them cover each other while pushing forward against entrenched defenders.

Every kill earns experience toward rank progression, while a separate scoring system tracks how each kill was achieved, rewarding tactics like flanking or headshots alongside raw kill count. Multiplayer expands the original with more than ten new close-quarters maps and two additional competitive modes, and a single persistent character carries progression and appearance across both the campaign and online matches.

• Cover-Based Combat Taking cover shifts the camera to third person for blind fire or precise aiming around corners.
• Smarter Squad AI Teammates cover each other while advancing and follow point-specific grenade and movement orders.
• Dual Progression Systems A rank-based XP track sits alongside a separate system that scores the style of each kill.
• Expanded Multiplayer More than ten new close-quarters maps and two extra competitive modes join the original lineup.
• Persistent Character One customized character and its progression carry across both the campaign and online matches.
