The Riftbreaker: Heart of the Swamp

The player pilots a mech suit called Mr. Nowak's Riggs, gathering resources scattered across the terrain, constructing a growing base of extraction and production buildings, and fending off waves of hostile alien creatures that attack as the base expands.

This expansion introduces a swamp biome with its own hazards, such as difficult terrain and creatures adapted to wet ground, alongside new structures and technologies suited to operating in this environment.

The core loop mixes base management with real-time combat: resources fund new buildings and mech upgrades, while stronger defenses are needed to survive escalating attacks tied to the base's own growth.

• Mech Suit Combat The player fights and gathers resources directly through a customizable piloted mech.
• Base Building Extraction and production buildings are placed and expanded to fuel further progress.
• New Swamp Biome This expansion adds a wetland map with hazards and enemies specific to that terrain.
• Escalating Defense Enemy attacks grow stronger as the player's base expands, demanding better defenses over time.
