Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown

Players choose a car from a wide, licensed roster, customize its performance and looks, and drive across a living city that shifts between day and night while other drivers roam the same streets. Progression is tied to joining one of two rival car clubs, each with its own culture and events, and players climb through club ranks by winning races, completing challenges, and building reputation. The world supports both structured races on set routes and open free-roam driving, letting players explore the island's neighborhoods, coastal roads, and mountain passes at their own pace. Car ownership matters beyond looks: garages, upgrades, and a currency-driven economy tie into how players build out their collection over time. Because other drivers populate the same map, spontaneous encounters, informal races, and shared traffic are part of the experience rather than a separate mode. It's built for players who want the social, always-populated feel of a shared driving world layered onto a substantial open map and a deep car customization system.
