Sprints ask you to build speed and hold form, throws want the release judged at the right moment, and the vault chains a run-up, a plant and a body turn. Five tournaments string events together against computer athletes, and the field gets faster at every step. Local play seats up to four people at one screen, and you choose which disciplines appear and the order they run in. Some events play out one after another, while others put athletes side by side on a split screen so you watch the gap open as it happens.
