Stronghold Crusader 2: The Emperor and The Hermit

This expansion adds two new AI lords for the player to battle in skirmish and multiplayer scenarios: the Emperor, a heavily fortified opponent who favors elaborate defensive structures, and the Hermit, a reclusive lord with unconventional tactics and resource management. The content introduces new maps and scenarios built around these characters, giving players fresh siege and defense puzzles to solve using the core game's castle construction, economy management, and army recruitment systems. Players still gather resources like wood, stone, and food to sustain their settlement while designing walls, towers, and traps to repel enemy assaults, or massing troops and siege engines to break through rival strongholds. This pack is meant for players already invested in Stronghold Crusader 2 who want additional opponents and challenges layered onto the existing castle-siege gameplay loop.
