About this game

The first mission has the lord fending off harassing raids on Saladin's farmland, protecting granaries and workers while holding a defensive perimeter against repeated crusader skirmishes. Success depends on the same castle-building and resource management systems as the base game: walling off vulnerable approaches, stationing archers on towers, and keeping food production running even while under attack.

The second mission escalates into open battlefield warfare: the lord allies with the Shah and marches out to meet the crusader army directly. Commanding cavalry, archers and siege engines in a large-scale field clash rather than a defensive siege. This content plays on top of the full base game and requires it to run; it adds extra achievements alongside the two new missions.

  • Farmland Defense Mission Protect Saladin's granaries and workers from repeated crusader raids while keeping resource production running.
  • Open Battlefield Mission Lead a mixed army of cavalry, archers and siege engines against the crusader force in a large-scale field battle.
  • New Achievements Unlock additional achievements tied specifically to completing both new missions.
  • Requires Base Game This content runs on top of the base strategy game and will not function without it.
