About this game
Steel Division 2 is a large-scale RTS where players command historical divisions across World War Two battlefields, deploying units in phases as battles escalate to full combined-arms assaults. This expansion adds eight new divisions spanning both Allied and Axis forces, and introduces Bulgaria as a new playable nation. New infantry units carry their own weapon load-outs, dialogue, and personality-driven Unit Traits, including Tank Riders, Shock troops, Security specialists, and Commando-trained soldiers. The roster expands with faction-specific tanks, howitzers, and aircraft, plus two new Aces, historical commanders who bring their own backstories and customization options. Matches still run on the existing battlegroup system, so the new divisions slot directly into current multiplayer and skirmish modes. Owning Steel Division 2 is required first, since this content plugs directly into the base game's division roster rather than standing alone.
